You go over the
Blanchetown bridge and turn right and follow the river for a few km (not quite sure how many but not far) and there is a fairly isolated house on the left where you pay CASH.
The campground is about 1000m or more along the river front so there is plenty of space and it is actually accessible for caravans. There are two entrances, the one closer to
Blanchetown is easier for vans and trailers.
Cheers

Beutifull spot with a lovely safe
sandy beach where you could almost walk halfway across the river without it going over your head. Probably walk even further now that the river levels are low.
No
toilet or shower facilities tough but ho needs a shower now the hot weather is here and you can have a swim.

Hate those drunken Morons that break beer bottles ,which end in our riveres and swimming spots. My wife suffered serious wounds from this negligence - ending a nice outing in hospital having stitches in her foot. Sandles are really a must in unseen waters, so look out for your kids going wading. Fishing hooks and lures are another
hazard but not done deliberately at least.
Dont start me on beer bottles thrown and broken into fireplaces either. Why is it always someone elses job to clean these up??
