hey guys
Am looking at going to jimna at xmas time, has anyone been there lately, what is the water hole like? Also as I have just bought my first 4wd any suggestion on some good camping spots in qld, preferably not too crowded. I am looking forward to getting out there and checking it all out.

We go to landcruiser all the time and love it....you can swim there but it's pretty dry. Camping is good and the tracks are great. Last time I was there was about 7 weeks ago and the falls was flowing from the rain they had

We were at Landcruiser yesterday, and only an occasional puddle was found. Had a lot of fun throughout the park though.

Denise.

Peach trees will be busy over xmas.
If it is crowdedl you can try "Peach tree over flow".
Turn off is on the left just before the gate into Peach tree.
Less facilities but generally quieter.

We stayed at Peachtrees back in July, no 'swimming' water to speak of. Needs some good flooding rain!! Pity the Fire Tower is out of bounds, not sure if it's still set for demolition or the local group have managed to save it.
Lovely campground.. lots of cute and cudly wildlife at night and day.
