G'day Luca,
Give Brian Hartwig a call on 0412 818 118
(Solartint Solutions SA, based in
Adelaide)
He provides a mobile service and even came up to
Jamestown for my son and myself.
Had
mine done on the Troopy a while ago and very satisfied
with quality and cost.
No association....blah blah blah.
Just a satisfied customer.
Cheers
Michael

Window tint is one of those areas where "Ya Gets what Ya pays for"
Worth paying a bit extra to make sure you get a good warranty from an established operator.

Hey Zumzum
Ask about quality UV filter tinting, as per spec by the local cancer councils. My early fleet started with 50% UV block, but you can get 75% UV block now.
Works wonders for the driving arm.

Cool UPF rating 95% even better, Soliver Sunsmart was the recomended tint by the Qld Cancer Fund, back when
i got the last 75% tint. I found that at tint a car.

Luca,
Big variation in costs. When you buy a new vehicle, the dealer tries to charge you $495. Then you go down Main North Rd and the tint companies tell you $395. Then there is the odd company discounting to $295. And when things are quiet, they will get down to $200 per vehicle.
My suggestion is to pick a good company and talk them down on price - its pretty competitive.
Just beware of warranty conditions - they all offer "lifetime" warranty but some want you to have a yearly inspection at your expense, which usually means the warranty gets voided after 1 year.
Cheers
Phil

Thanks Phil, I think TINT-A-CAR is a good company, I called them today and they charge $365 ... INSTANT WINDSCREEN on South Rd. only $260 ....
