Doug

I think its amazing, if only us humans could adapt to thing like wild life
do, its so simple, they make the best of what they have got.

Yep I have one that built its apartment near our pool and the grandchildren were amazed at what the bird did to build its house in the air..

Doug, Im not in anyway peeved at you, your threads or any of your comments.

All my replies have been made tongue in cheek and with humour. Well thats the way I intended them. I dont post often because if I need information I'll always search the archives first and if my query is not answered fully, then post a thread.

A bloody Yank...eh !!!.....Im a true blue Kiwi and bloody proud of it. Just so happens I enjoy living, working and 4by..ing in OZ.

Having just stated the above, a thought has crossed my mind though. You do have a certain reputation for baiting hooks and Ive got a sneaky suspicion Ive just bitten.....LOL.

Cheers mate.....Lionel.

Doug, Just as an after thought. Would it be ok if I dropped the "howdy all and Hi all" in future and began with:

LADIES, GENTLEMEN AND AUSTRALIANS........hehehe....

Cheers....Lionel.

Nice photos Doug not easy to get pics birds let alone that well composed.

Most houses in our area have sunbirds, ours nest in the shed and come back every year to raise their family, we think they like the protection humans give from predators.

You'll notice that they build an awning over the door to keep the rain out (smart birds eh?)

I see Mother Nature has finally come up with a response to those bloody annoying wind chimes people insist on hanging so they know if the wind is blowing...
Great pics Doug.
