Well I hope this works. Today is the start of a new era...

I just fitted a roll out Awning to the rear of the Troopy, could have used one on the last trip but could not get anyone to sell me one over here in the West (plenty of salespersons just too hard to fine one that worked) LOL.

This one is a Gunyah outdoors from Outback Hiking Co.

I'm NOT saying it,s the best but so far looks the goods, got one for the back of the Caravan as well.

So with crossed fingers here goes

Yes saw them, and took a peek at your plot file image (imapplot) of it as well.

I won't be going anywhere for a while, maybe Lake Darlot for a few days end of Jan.

Richard,
Geeze I thought my Cruiser was a tight fit in the garage with roof racks. Looks like if you f##t the hot air will raise it enough hit the roof?

Brian,

yes I still have the old roll of canvas on the roof rack, it was made for the Prado and the CT. we take it everywhere but only use it once or twice a trip.

Hope to use this one more because its simple to use , so I should be able to handle it .. LOL

Cheers

You may also notice the 11 watt solar panel on the car port roof, this keeps the Aux battery above 13.5 - 14 volts when the Troopy is parked up

and the NavNet slowly drains the battery, over two weeks not running the Aux battery will drop too less than 11 volts now its OK

Sometimes the Aux has more charge than the main battery

Regards

A neat Awning there Richard...
I have also just taken delivery of one made by a great bloke located in the Adelaide Hills.
Tailor made for my vehicle, and works a treat....and an extra competitive price$$.

I have no interest with this business, just a happy customer letting people know of a good deal.
