Is anyone aware if the
Betoota Hotel is to reopen or if there are new owners of the property?

Was told by John
Menzies from the Working Museum in
Birdsville that the owners of the
Birdsville pub have bought it to re-open. When, he didn't know. This was back in August.

Be a great halfway mark stop for a beer if they did. Don't think they served a beer up there for about 10yrs. We camped there on our way to
Birdsville this year.

Thanks for that info, a mate who was born there about 60yrs ago was wondering what was the status of the establishment.

We're stuck in Bne for a while while the back gets sorted out then it's off to WA.
