There are an area right by the front doors (gq), which always seem to collect dirt and grime from the outside. Should there be a guard between this area and the outside? I can see the tire from inside with the door open, which means that the tire is flinging mud and dirt onto the door. If so what is the guard or panel that should be there called?

If you can see the TYRE with the door open then there would have to be a panel missing, one would think it would be called something like an internal guard lining, or similar.

You shouldn't be able to see the tyre from inside. Get under the other side of the GQ, have a look what's there, go down to a wrecker and pick up the same guard for the driver's side.
