I have fitted firestone airbags to the troopy and they work a treat! Does exactly what I hoped: levelled it off nicely, rides good and handles pretty good now. The right hand bag is totally level and vertical but for some reason the L/H bag mountings are such that the lower mount is further out that the top one, making the bag lean in strangely. What d'ya reckon? Recipe for trouble or can they take not being 100% aligned? Any advice appreciated!

Hi Gil

Ive had them in my Troopy for 2 years and i understand the angle you are talking about mine have a slight angle on them maybe 10 to 15mm from top to bottom but i do have the 2inch raised fitting kit due to the lift i put in my Troopy my thinking is as long as you have the right air presure in them and the angle isnt to great any idea what it would be?? you should be ok ive done 20,000kms on mine and there still ok i did adjust the bottom bracket after letting it settle in maybe you have to do that too maybe you can email me a pic ?? redfive@bigpond.net.au

Could it be that they setup to compensate for the drivers weight, some springs are 10 to 15mm taller on the driver side for this reason.

Just a thought, Baz.
