strong roof rack

can anyone reccomend a roof rack ,openended and low to carry a 12ft tinnie on a 100 series (gutterless) l.cruiser ,to handle off road ,corrugations etc

Murray, I'd suggest you try using a pair of roof bars, such as Rhino or Rola, as they'll keep the overall weight down, and probably do as well. Alternatively ARB might make their 'Tradesman' rack to fit gutterless vehicles. I've got a gutter-mounted one, and its great. Service and backup from ARB are excellent too. Cheers, Alex.

I Don't think you can go past a Rhino rack system, they have a great system for the 100 Ser. I would recomend a three bar system with a full length boat roller on the back ! Any Opossite Lock Store will be able to help you.

Thanks for your help.I have a Rhino bar set and have not yet fitted .Concerned it may be too light .Will now give it a go.
