Hi All,
have got my CB installed next to hand brake, could i use this power cable and connect to a bluetooth unit and external speaker, or would i have to run a new power source ? would just be much easier for me to use the existing one.
thanks steve

The bluetooth unit would draw nothing much at all and the external speaker is fed from the UHF so I would say a resounding YES

Personally I would run separate power cable to each as you might create a situation where you are getting RF from your radio.
Make sure the cables are more than adequate to handle the power needed. Also you need good earthing especially for the radio.

The wire to the handbrake is not a 'power' wire but rather a wire probably feeding a ground to the light on the dash to indicate the handbrake is on.
As has been suggested connect a seperate power feed for each accessory is the best way to do it.
Small items like CB's can be connected to either the stereo power or the cigarette lighter if you are too lazy to run it right back to the fuse box or battery.

Yes........just make sure the fuse for the power source covers both appliances in total.
