Swmbo, has been on the phone half the day, looking for a spot on the east coast NSW to stay for a week. Work is controlling time AGAIN!, so have a week after Xmas to try the new windsor windcheater van out, (new to us haha,! 15ft millard to 18ft tandem Windsor)

Parks inland are heavily booked central west etc.

Tourism is a ever increasing thing in this country now.

Time to start looking for a new job when it impacts too much on your recreation ;-) That's the best feature of my job being able to work up additional days then take them pretty much when I want. I don't think I could go to a job where I was told what days to take. During school holidays you nearly need to look 6+ months ahead to ensure a spot these days, particually hard for those unable to plan that far ahead.
Cheers Craig.......

Yes, I'm not sure why but the East Coast just goes beresk around Xmas. I usually try to get in a fortnight at Merimbula just prior to Xmas and it's always easy to get a spot...
My solution would be to retire, now that we have a Labour Govt they have always been generous to those of us on welfare..LOL

The National Caravan Club Rally is at Forbes from the 28th Dec to 7 Jan so the area around here will be fairly busy for a week or two before Christmas and then till mid Jan.

You might want to give Knorrit Flat Riverside Retreat a try. From memory it isabout $9 per pers per night. Located 40 km nth west of Wingham, 50 km north east of Gloucester. Could be crowded. Parkland area, toilet and shower facilities no power, on good river.

Google for it and phone no.

Cheers
