Dunns Swamp camping area directions?

Hi all im looking for some directions on how to get to the
dunns swamp camping area near
Kandos in nsw.
I have heard this is a nice area but no one can give me exact directions was hoping i might get lucky and someone from this
forum that has been the this place i am travelling from
newcastle.

I have just used Google (aussiepages) and "
dunns swamp camping area near
Kandos " and got a few good hits with directions shown. Rather than my posting all the url's here try Goggle yourself. Hope that helps

I have not been there but have been given these directions. If you head to
Mudgee and follow the signs to
Lithgow you should come across signs to Rylstone/
Kandos. In
Rylstone there should be a sign that says
Dunns Swamp (Fitzgerald St I think). After about 25km turn left at
Dunns Swamp signpost, cross small creek and you should be there.
Hopefully heading there next weekend. We will actually be camping in
Mudgee as we are riding around the vineyards. However, we are planning to drive out to
Dunns Swamp to have a look. Will let you know if above directions are accurate.

Yes i am heading there this weekend i did i search on google and it returned heaps of sites i was quite suprised.
You will injoy the
Mudgee vineyards have been there about 6 times now.

Try calling NSW National Parks & Wildlife at
Mudgee as they are the managers of the area.Cheers, Beddo

Take off times getting closer Beddo. What radios are you taking and what channels will you monitor ?? I think you said your return was down Tanami, correct ? Give us your dates again. We will be travelling in the white GU you saw us in up on Yango with a tent and rod holder on top.Carpe Diem
