Has any one heard of the brand Trailcutter.Has anyone run them on there 4WD.
The particular one I'm looking at is called the Trailcutter Radial A/T.
An American made tyre I'm told.

The size is 265 X 65 R17"

Any feed back would be appreciated

Scoof .. :-)

Gday Scoof

My son sells them at his tyre store , they are made in the same factory as Coopers , i dont know much about them , but i do run the Jetzon A/T s on my 4by also made by the same mob , so far pretty happy with them , this is the scond set i have had as i had them on my previous 4by, cant really comment much further on them yet as i havent really run the kilometeres up enough. Customers are telling him they are more than satisfied ..

Thanks for the reply.
The price I got was so much cheaper than BFG but sometimes you only get what you pay for.

Save over $500 on five tyres.

I would hate to save $500 bucks and then be stuck with lemons .

So thanks again for you reply.
What part of SA are you from or your son from.I'm from SA it might be easier for me to buy them from your Lad.

Cheers Scoof .. :-)

Borgy , ordered my tyres yesterday, I ordered them local but are coming from Adelaide anyway the bloke tells me.
Maybe from your son I don't know.

If he was closer would of went to your son but we are 260k from Adelaide.
Thanks for your origanal reply ,
I'm saving $100 per tyre on all other tyres I priced so just got to put them to the test now.
They would have to be better than the standard tyres I have on now.

Cheers Scoof.

Product Info: Manufactured by the Cooper Tyre & Rubber Company betweeen April 2004 and November 2005. They were sold by Tyres4U during the period December 2004 to February 2006.

Defect Details: The affected tyres may not have adequate rubber coverage of the belt edge due to low tread gauge in the sholder slot area of the tyres. It may eventually cause cracking at the base of the shoulder slots resulting in exposed belt wire leading to accelerated belt degradation. Continued use may cause the ply cords to break and the tubeless linear to tear and lose the inflating air.

Consumer action: If you believe you have an affected tyre then contact your tyre retailer to arrange for an inspection and arrange for a replacement including fitting and balancing or a full refund of the original purchase price. Alternatively, consumers can contact Tyres4U on the toll free number 1800 722 822 or email them at info@tyres4u.com.au for further information or to arrange for inspection and where appropriate the replacement of tyres.

Look at the date , surely if the product was recalled the problem would have to have been rectified by now
