Does anyone know where the horn relay is situated on a 1/87 HJ75 2H diesel troopy ? After that big rain we got here yesterday I am having some wiring problems . Bit hard to believe they have not got a relay , I think they have on the later model HJ75 , but I cant see one on my wiring diagram . Maybe someone that has one , or a sparky would be able to tell me or put me on the right track , before I rip out my remaining hair :)

Hello fellow 2h owner i know this dosen't give you the exact answer you want but a
Workshop manuals should give you a lot of good reading took me a while to find this.
It's a big file so if you use dial up give us a yell and i will see what i can do.
I'll also have a look in my download and see what i can find.
Regards
Stephen.
PS get a bullbar and just push them out of the way

Thanks Stephen :) everything works except I believe I have a short in the horn circuit and when its pressed it blows the engine fuse but not the horn fuse . I have the
Gregory's & Haynes workshop manuals and also the 2H engine repair manual . The problem is most likely a bad body earth connection somewhere , finding it
well ........... nothing is easy , with electric problems . But at the moment I am looking for the horn relay , and going from there , trail and error :)

MintabiePete the chassis manual that i've got doesn't show a horn relay it indicates that the fuse size is 15A, my understanding after looking at the wiring diagram is the horn and hazards share the same fuse, and that we are switching neutral to the horn. I think the indicators/hazards draw about 5 amp 60w/12v
the hazards are teed off prior to the horn. I would try disconnecting one horn at a time.
Have fun finding the problem or just install a set of air horns.
