Hey Guys,

I want to block the EGR on my Patrol on the weekend. I have read all about how to do it, but have read that some people block the top pipe and others block the lower pipe.
Does it make any difference or should I block both?

Cheers

Hi Dieseljuice,

Should make no difference, once blocked its blocked! Mine is blocked at the top (on manifold) but just as easy to block on the lower section of that pipe (near EGR valve).

Don't forget to lower the boost on the turbo once you have blocked the EGR.

Cheers

I'd try this forum. Seems to be a major topic of debate on a regular basis.Nissan Patrol forum

Good luck

You will find it much easier to block at the inlet (top). Have a look at how it is attached and you will see why.
