Was wondering if someone out there could tell us where all the switches, buttons etc should be located and what they do in this vehicle. A previous owner has fitted new switches all over the place and we do not know what they are for! but if we can at least work out the ones that are meant to be there it would be a start.

We don't have an owners manual yet!

Hoping someone can be of assistance.

Thanks in advance....

from what I can remember...

The switch to the right of the steering wheel near where the keys go (momentary switch) is to open the tailgate window.

The key the the left of the steering column (power/auto/hold) with amber and green light is for the automatic tramision. "Power" keeps it reving a little longer (I think) and locks the auto transmision larter then standard. "hold" is when driving on slippery surfaces like snow (to avoid wheel spin). Never tried it on sand so don't know if it is effective.

Beneath this somewhere is the mirror control joystick.

On the centre console...
... the foglight switch (with a little headlight picture) is self explanatory.
.... the "sport/touring" switch (with an amber light) is to adjust the stiffness of the shock absorbers. "sport" is for tough, "touring" is for soft. (only works if you still have the original shock absorbers.

On the drivers door you have the four window controls, door lock and window lock switches.

That's all that I can remember. What others do you have?

robak...thanks for your reply.

All dash and door switches appear to be there!

However..... on the centre console.....on the passengers side we have two toggle switches, one that has off/on and another with no marking at all. The on/off toggle is at the top of the console and the other further down....

On the drivers side of the console we have what appears to be an original rocker switch with no markings and then a hole where something has been! I think the sport/touring switch is the original looking rocker switch...please correct me if I am wrong.

After some playing....

The original looking rocker switch is for the spotlights, the top toggle switch on the passengers side of the console is the suspension setting and the unknown one is the headlight washers....

It's all good now!

Thanks

oh yes... That's right there's the headlight washer switch. Also another one, to the right of the steering column, is the rear window defogger switch.
