Have been looking for the fuel filter on my 80 series efi 4500 petrol cruiser and I'm darned if i can find it. I thought it should be in front of the rear
tank but the only thing that looks like a filter has wires coming out of it so I guess this must be the pump. Have checked the lines from the pump to the manifold head and nothing there
Anyone know where I will find it ???

Rodney,
When I change
mine I jack up the front left wheel, remove the wheel, remove the rubber splash guard and access it that way. Just make sure to de-pressurise the fuel system before undoing the banjo bolts.
To de-pressurise, simply remove the efi-main fuse and crank the engine over for a couple of seconds.
