Yes, I did. It was low about 12"

But make sure you take a wide curve downstream.

Since when has that worried you???
Or are you worried about getting the alternator wet on the new beast? :-)

Harry we've had several intense thunder storms come through the NE this week so water levels may have changed conciderably. Somewhere on the BOM site there should be some current river levels for the Murray.

Harry,
you can have a look at
http://waterinfo.nsw.gov.au/cgi-bin/browse.epl?site=401012
or
http://www.bom.gov.au/hydro/flood/nsw/southwest.shtml

I expect both get data from the same gauging station. The NSW site allows you to compare current levels with previous years.

G'day Harry,

Better take your earmuffs, the Christmas beetles are in full voice.

We camped at Thredbo Diggings for a several days last week and had planned to spend a couple more down the road at TG but the db was too much for SWMBO.......I'm half deaf anyhow so it have bothered me as much.

Not too sure if they go all night but at 11am they were. No problems at Diggings though and we virtually had the place to ourselves.

Cheers,Paul
