Can anyone point me to
seat covers which are waterproof for side-airbag equipped NS Pajero ?
Ideally I am after canvas or similar but seem hard to find ?
Cheers, Jonathan

Jonathan
I use sheepskin on my. I got them from autObarn They are waterproof, as tested by my son who emptied a full can of coke onto one of the front seats - no fluid made it through to the
seat. He is recovering nicely...
These
seat covers have cut-outs to allow for the inflation of the airbags, if necessary. They have not been compliance tested, and I accept the risk of this.

Beaten by the spell checker.
That should read "I have sheepskin seatcovers on my Prado".

Thanks George - I was wondering how
well sheepskin would go on long dirt trips but if they can withstand coke they sound good ! Great photo - I remember using Inmarsat C's a long while ago....it looks awfully similar

I was wondering why the Airbag-compatible seatcovers were no dearer than the standard ones.
Opening the packet I found that they simply didn't sew the seam in the area where the airbag would pop out !.
So if you want to convert ordinary seatcovers to airbag-compatible, just unpick the stitching !
