Well all dare devils must come to an end. He died aged 69 so he had a pretty good innings considering his profession.

News article about his death

Cheers Kev

Most of us have seen the news. Although, to keep it on topic, perhaps there are travellers out there whose only source of info is the internet. Luckily they saw this! LOL

And your point is? (regarding your last two posts; assuming you've read the conditions for posting on the forum).

Kev,

I'm not the only one with the problem regarding the amount of 'off topic' posts/replies/follow-ups; but I am the only one that has expressed this point to you in this particular thread.

Most people atleast make the effort to put 'OT' in their subject heading; for all I knew, you were posting about a trip EK had done in Oz, but no, no relevance here.

The thing is, I keep opening up posts that I am interested in and find myself wading through completely off-topic replies and follow-ups between you and Kiwi to get to a relevant reply to the actual post. Hence yesterday, when I read two completely off-topic posts by you on the same day, I had a go. You may notice that I used 'LOL' in my reply and follow-up which is the exact opposite of what Doug T does (who has come to your rescue) when he deliberately winds someone up then says 'where's your sense of humour'.

Personally, I don't think using the forum as your own chatroom is appropriate; we all do it at times but you are making a career of it LOL But hell, I'm not hitting the moderator button :-)))

A genuine legend.

Remember these days it's all done on Honda's - Evel Knievel did it on a HARLEY!

Now that's skill.

didn't see him do a double back flip on the harley !!! - kidding - considering how privative the bike and suspension was its amazing the he pulled off any of those jumps , and kind of makes you wonder if he is the driving influential force behind the new generation of jumpers such as the crusty demons and such.
