Kiwi & "Mahindra"
been reading through some threads about which maps go with which GPS's.....
we just got the Magellan Explorist 500 and need some maps for the thing.....so mapsend is something to get yeah?? Also whats the go with getting them onto an SD card? Do you have to buy certain map packages that allow this or can they all do it?
Plus how good is that Great Desert Tracks?
Not sure what more info I can give you...Im a bit of a blonde when it comes to this sort of thing - in one ear and out the other!! (PS dont tell Kev....he'll never let me live this down!!)

Just about the Great Desert Maps:
They are Great. I have the paper version as
well as the CD rom version coupled to Ozexplorer, and couldn't be happier.
Very accurate, fairly large area covered in each map, but not much to report on out there anyway!!
And just about every wheeltrack out there (and that is not a private track) is on there.
Have fun playing with the gadgets!
