Finally starting to get my head around the EOS 400D technology.

Shot a lot of frames with the two Canon lenses but came away a little disappointed.

Replaced them with the Tamron from the previous SLR (28-200), and found it to be a far better lense for what I want to do.

After a few adjustments, the clarity, and colour is quite amazing. Also very happy with the down load software.

If I have the opportunity before Xmas, I'll get down to Tooradin (Western Port Bay) before dawn, and go out with one of the locals on the water to take some shots of the wildlife waking up...... send you some shots for professional criticism.

Many thanks for your advice (and all the others).

Regards

Kim

Gidday Hairy

You do that and I'll go to another location to shoot the same.

Trouble is I may not be in a very good condition the next morning...... Camera shake and all that stuff.

LOL

Gidday No 1

Rather than carry around two lense, I find the 28-200 suits my needs at the moment. Things may change over time.
