Just got my members letter from Anaconda Stores. 25 - 30% of all
camping euipment, tents, 4x4 equipment and fridges (Engel & Waeco) from 6 till 9 pm Thursday 6th December at all stores. Makes the fridges cheap for those who mentioned on the
forum lately that they were thinking of buying.
Cheers. Mick

Apparently this sale doesn't include fridges.

cant wait for frankston store to open - right next door to Rays! The deals. bargaining them against each other will rock!
Interesting, as said it doesnt inc fridges (says in fine print) - USUALLY..
but I have heard lots of people scoring deals on fridges from these sales, so suppose it cant hurt to ask

Nowhere on the Anaconda "club ' nite sale are fridges excluded , all discounts are off Recomended Retail Price , only way that you may not get the discount on a fridge is under what "classification " they sell their Fridges ,IE: 25% off 4x4 acc or 25% off
camp furniture or is a fridge just a fridge ,.

We rang up and they said fridges were definitely not included. That was from the store at Logan in
Brisbane. Perhaps you could bargain a deal anyway ... but I doubt you'll be getting 25% of an Engel. They said that fridges are a "utility" not an "accessory" or some rubbish like that.

I rang Ray's (who I prefer to deal with) and asked if they'd match Anaconda in respect to fridges at a sale in June this year. They said no worries so I bought the Waeco 50 litre adventurer pack (included the 35 A/H power unit, RAPS cabling, Transit bag and mounting brackets) at 25% off (Normally $1700 or therabouts). Very good deal. Just got back from Anaconda Bayswater and they've told a few porkies in their brouchure. "
Camping equipment" actually means furniture only. No stoves, cooking equipment, lights torches etc. Somewhat misleading.
Mick.

Mick, thanks for the heads up.
I have been looking to buy a Black Wolf Turbo lite plus 300 for about 6 months and waiting for a sale somewhere.
I saw your post, signed up for a card bought a tent and saved $280.
Well done and thanks

No worries. That's good news. The black wolf tents were a very popular item last night. One bloke had three on a trolley heading for the registers! No much luck for me. Next time maybe.
Cheers. Mick
