12HT Valve Clearance

Hi Everyone,
Could some kind person tell me the valve clearance for a 12HT.
Hot or cold.

Hot Inlet 20mm Exhaust 36mm
Inlet .008 in. Exhaust .014 in.

Dave, you omitted the very important decimal point before the mm dimensions. Actually, it is better to put a zero in front as well:
Intake 0.20mm; Exhaust 0.36mm

I gather you are an "inch" man LOL

I think they would clatter and bang a bit at 20 and 36mm wouldn't they Klaus?

I hope Joe hasn't raced out and set them at 20 and 36 already :<))

Also worthwhile inspecting the tip of the rocker arms.
At about 200k. my old 2h had about a 0.010" wear recess where the rocker arm contacts the valve stem.
This masks the measured setting, the feeler gauge not fitting the circular recess.
Easy cure by dismantling the rocker assembly and having the rocker tips reground. The hardness depth is usually deeper than the wear.
