Waeco are having a Xmas sale this saturday at their Varsity Lakes factory.Prices are usually
well below RRP.
I bought a CF 50 a few years ago at one of these sales & it has been a great fridge.
A nice easy drive for all you Brissy members.

Yes Vince, I bought my reverse camera's for Prado and caravan there last year.
Also a 50 litre for beer and 18litre used as freezer.
Lots and lots of goodies and very popular.

I bought a CF80 1 year ago - gets use a lot --- at home for parties as a bar fridge outside and
camping in addition to my fridge in the caravan ( for storage )
have been very happy with its performance and have no hesitation in suggesting one to friends ...

g'day boc.
I have considered purchasing one of the cf80's. For me the unknown is its power consumption on 12volts. How would you rate this?
Appreciate any assistance.

Gday Brian , I have a truck 4x4 battery as my main crank battery ( and was all i had till i got the duel set up)
i left the fridge in the back of the 4x4 for about 2 days all windows up - and set to full on the toggel switch down below and set to about -14 on the thermostat. and some pretty warm days so i imagine the thing was running a lot - after 2 days the battery was half dead but still able to start to car ( was taking my roadbike to work) my 4x4 is a nissan 4.2TDI
not bad for something that would have been running pretty hard for 2 days
i now have a duel battery system and have no issue with running it constantly if needed .... when the voltage drops on the battery you will get a warning light on the fridge ( Error light ) giving you time to go for a drive and recharge your battery(s)

Thanks for that Boc.
That is very helpful, and yes I agree that certainly would have been a decent load on the battery. I assume that after the 2 days, all 'was good' in the fridge.
