Sorry mate, When i'm just taking off or when slowing down under revs, sounds like flicking a ruler on the edge of the desk.
Toyota said its a common problem on some ealier models, and they changed it on the later models, they said they fix it with a fuel dampner???
Do you know of this type of problem??

What is it like: Starving for fuel?
Air in the line?
Running out of fuel?
A bleeding problem?
as in the 1st post a bit more info would help.

fuel lines are vibrating, dont worry about it, common fault, turn up the radio or buy a new 200, with throw away unserviceable injecters at 1k a piece...and a owners manual that states..."if you think you have got bad fuel, pull over and call Toyota"

DOZER

I driven a number of crusiers from 47's to 79's (plus a 60 and a 80), I have not heard of that one before and I have driven some station toyota's too. If that is the case, it should only be loose/missing bolts or rubber somewhere along the fuel lines. Check it anyway as it shouldn't happen.

Only happens to the 1HD-FTE motors in the 2001-2002 78/79series. For whatever reason, Toyota skimped on the dampeners that they put just upstream of the injector pump on other models.

So, you're talking about the injector lines themselves? Between injector pump and the injectors.

"you're talking about the injector lines themselves?"

No. Sorry, I may have been confusing with the term "upstream" which I meant to mean back towards the fuel tank.

The steel fuel pipe that runs along the firewall between the fuel filters and the injector pump is the source of the noise. The vibration is transmitted back from the injector pump. The factory fitted dampener is located on the inlet manifold on the inlet fuel hose.

The noise is most pronounced when you're off throttle and at low speed - get it constantly when 4wding in low range. Sounds a bit like an exhaust brake.

Cheers
Phil

Dozer is right again!!
You've got the 78 or 79 series. The noise is caused by vibration being transmitted back from the pump.
From 2003 onwards they fitted a black fuel dampener between the steel fuel line and the injector pump (bolts neatly on the intake manifold). My 2002 model had the same problem as yours, and Toyota fitted the dampener for free.
Before Toyota sorted the problem, the common fix was to replace the steel fuel pipe with a rubber one, but the dampener does the job better.

To everyone who posted a negative reply !

This IS a well known problem and has now been well answered here. If you are wanting some advice sometime in the future I am sure you would not want some of your drivel posted back at you. Nothing wrong with a bit of humour but how about engaging brain before hitting the key board occasionally when a genuine question has been posted.
