Guys / Gals,

I have a Nissan R51 Pathfinder (2006 model) I also have a Waeco 50ltr fridge and a Waeco fridge slide, I am trying to get my head around how I can mount the slide in the back of the Pathy, there are limited anchor points in the rear, before I start drilling and generally re arranging the back of the wagon, has anyone else fitted a slide to the back of one of these beasts, if so do you want to share.

I reckon this is harder than Chinese algebra.

Barry,

Get a sheet of 12mm ply or MDF and cut to suit the back of the Pathy.
You can the fix the slide to that and it will be secure without any additional holes. For additional security you could fix the ply/MDF to the exisiting anchor points if you want as well.

Cheers Kev

Thanks Kev,

I sorta half came to that idea as being the best way to do it, given the lack of suitable anchor points, I thought someone out there may have already installed one and had some smart way of doing it.

Thanks for the suggestion

Send Jimbo (Vic) an MM as he would have a few ideas to share as He builds storage draws for a crust and is very helpful.

Different vehicle here, but I'm now doing much the same exercise - will fit a sheet of 12mm ply onto the rear deck - cover that with boat carpet, then affix the slide. The ply will be fixed at the front to the cargo barrier. Fixing the ply at the rear is yet to be worked out but probably bolts through it to existing anchor points in the floor.
