I'm looking for a rear light to mount on the spare tyre of the Pajero (NM), similar to the ones that Kaymar have on their replacement rear wheel carriers (photo at Kaymar website). I've seen ONE Pajero that has had one, and I'll swear it had a 4x4 Equip sticker on it, but I've asked them and they say they don't make one for the Pajero - just their light pole that goes on their axe/shovel holder - I'm after a permanently mounted light.

Does anyone know who makes such a beastie?

Go buy either a cheap set of spoties or a decent set and whack a pole on the back bolted or welded to the tyre rack! the easiest and cheapest way pretty it up some of course. run the wire up thru pole and put a switch in cab and use it as a reverse light aswell as a camp light! supercheap has them for around $60 dollars i think??? ( the spotties).

Have a look at this earlier same question: ThreadID: 50651 and reply 10 of 10 for an alternative which looks real good. Makes it portable so it can be used on any side of the vehicle anytime you need to. Would be real handy if you were to get a flat tyre in middle of nowhere in pitch black darkness.

I took a cheaper option of the stubby light and bought this on ebay which I think will be okay. I should have it tomorrow all going well. Have a search on ebay for -

4x4 light

I know he has more of these to sell if you are interested.

Good luck

This is on my spare wheel(GU Patrol). I just bent and welded some metal and it seems to work - I can stand on it to get to the roof. The spare wheel bolts hold it on and the bolts are still easy to undo. The light is wired through a connector for easy removal. Just a different idea. PS The broken light was only for testing purposes!
