hi have this prob and no one can soort it out 109.000kls its on gas ass have extractors k&n air cleaners 68kw at back
wheels on dyno new injectors could it be the pump is anyone out there that can help dont want any smart answers as time is money this is also a auto awaiting some replys regards morry

Do you mean it's a GU 4.2TD with LPG injection?
I would ditch the K&N first up....they are not efficient enough; let too much dust through.

wheels is dreadful.
Get the thing checked out by a PROPER diesel mechanic; someone who specialises in these matters. Where are you located?
Sounds like pump and/or timing issues.

Do you mean it's a GU 4.2TD with LPG injection? Oh, just re-read....you have extractors, so I'm now assuming it's a naturally aspirated model (GQ or series one GU).
I would ditch the K&N first up....they are not efficient enough; let too much dust through.

hi yes its a jap import was smocking when i got it so had the following done 1rebuilt injetors 2 extractors with 65mm ex right thru 3 k&n filters 4 auto fully serviced and adjusted 4put it on gas note all these were done on the advise of some very big company names and and no increase in power only a very large hole in pocket just seems dead have turned the gas of and its just the same the injectors were done buy arep company who do earhmoving units plus the dyno it all in all its all failed regards morry

Had the same problem, turned out to have got a tankful of dirty fuel, changed fuel filter problem went away. Fortunately there was not much of the fuel left.

sorry its not a turbo , the problem is that it is a import 1989 and that is the problem cant get anyone to check the throtle control switch as that could cause my problem , not even nissan will not look at it they say that there is no english technical advise available , so thats it getting to hard regards morry

Have you tried the EGR valve morry?
Mine was blocked solid open(?) and once clean I got power from somewhere.
