Do these lights actually illuminate on the GXL model, or are they reflectors?
Mine don't seem to do anything...maybe a fuse?

I think they're just reflectors.
I have a '99 snowy and I thought that my bulbs might have been blown. I pulled one out to find that they don't have bulb holders at all.

They are just a red cover and if you had the VX or Sahara then you would have the light show through, if you really wanted to, you can probably get them to illuminate if you were to modify with a bulb holder and connect the wires which are behind the door panel.
