My local farmers hardware shop has a Big Boss Aircompressor by AutoKing on special for $132 and I am mulling on buying it as a back-up to my 5 year old Bluetongue 3. The Big Boss has twin cylinders and a few more goodies.

Does anyone have one of these or heard of them for that matter?

Yes, I know, you get what you pay for...lol

Cheers

I have had one for a while and does the job OK.

Reputed to put out 150l per min..

Willem don't buy a toy ;-))
I picked up a 3.5CFM Pro 7 compressor from www.probag.com.au, really blows some air!
Running it on 24v (it is dual 12/24 voltage in the Humvee it is rated at 5 cfm.
They sell them on ebay regularly for less than the website price.
They also have smaller compressors as well, very good service after buying and very knowledgeable on their product. No association with them etc etc.

Gday Willem,
I recently bought a Terrain Tamer twin cylinder compressor as a 2nd/portable compressor as a $125 show special.
Max current = 30amps and max flow rate is about 70l/min.
Compared it to my Blue Tongue 3, and it took almost exactly the same time to pump up one of my tyres from 20-40psi. Comes in a bag, so I can carry it in the Xtrail.

Not sure what this big boss is, but if its the same as this one on EBAY, you've got a pretty cheap price, and it pumps at double the rate.
