Evening Willem

My Nissan is ex govt so it is the colour the headline does not mention. Ah well - no expensive metallic paint to fix the odd bump and scratch.

Cheers

Mine is a sort of bronze over silver, so where do I fit in.

I didn't choose the colour either, I chose the vehicle based on it being a diesel wagon at a very good price. Colour wasn't a consideration, although if it was hot pink, I might have kept looking.......might...

Willem, not really sure what colour mine is supposed to be, level 5 or 6 water restrictions have been here for a while. I did give a door a rub down in our usual torrential rains, and I think it was once white.

Funny how the timing of things go.

Just the day before yesterday I was in some traffic and I noticed, and was surprised, at the number of Black vehicles I saw.

Bet they'll be sorry, what with Global warming making them hotter than usual.

Hopefully they will stay dignified and not get hot under the collar!

Also boring which some would say suits me well.

Likewise I choose white as it is the coolest colour. The F250 is Ghost Gum - it's really a sort of light silver/grey - also a fairly cool colour. True to form, the ex Govt vehicles we have bought have all been white.

Some years ago, we had a white Falcon Station Wagon, and we filled the firefighter with water from town and gave it a wash before going to a family wedding. My Mum visited soon after and found i wasn't home, so correctly guessed i was as the swimming pool with the children. She came and couldn't find our wagon there, saying afterwards - "But i didn't know you had a white car". We'd had it since new for around 4 years.

We have bought the odd stray colour when buying second hand (green, red, and the brown/grey colour the short wheel base Cruisers all seemed to be).
