Hi
Looking for feedback or advice. Friend has a 03 Pajero 2.5 ltr Petrol with gas conversion. Tows 21 ft van, fully loaded about 2.3/2.4 tonnes. Gets there but a bit slow up inclines and into headwinds. He wants to power up with a "chip".
(1) Are there "chips" - DP etc, that do the job for a petrol/gas vehicles - threads I have looked at seem to only talk about power ups for diesels;
(2) If yes to (1), how good are they ie increase power and torque for petrol engines;
(3) Any feedback on experiences for petrol power ups;
(4) Any detrimental costs to engine and component life cycle:??

Hi i have a UNICHIP fitted with dual mapping.
As lpg has a higher octance and you can tune the engine
to run better on either fuel.I got the 10% increase as suggested
unichip and now have 5kw more on Lpg than running ULP. Search this site for UNICHIP has been a lot about them.

Thanks for the feedback Rob. Will pass it on. I made a mistake in my original post, should be 3.5 ltr petrol not 2.5.
Thanks
