Hi Just joined so be kind. We are getting a new caravan built and using a 200L compressor fridge. We have a choice of a Vitrifrigo or Waeco fridge. Don't know which to choose? Any Recommendations. Cheers

Welcome to the EO mob, I haven't heard of Vitrifrigo but reading that other thread the Vitrifrigo gets the nod.
Theres also a thread talking about how to get the best out of your fridge in your van with a little management of the heat produced. I couldnt find it but cant quite recall the wordxs to search.
Someone here with a bigger brain will remember.
Again welcome to the place

I have a Vitrifrigo 150 litre. They use the same Danfoss compressors as Waco. The only problem we have found is that the side walls taper in towards the back, the shelves are tapered too and when they work forward on rough tracks they drop out.

Thanks for the input looks like I am going for the Vitrifrigo. I have been told it uses less power 42w average compared to 60w average for waeco although they both use the danfoss compressor the Vitrifrigo must be running at slower revs
Thanks again and Cheers
