Went at
easter Prado-wolf and it was near perfect with low grass height , however I believe it has come back now.
Serval of harder tracks parts had been graded and were easier also.
Will be at
Talbotville Xmass- new year ourseleves
All the best for season

Hi Robin,
thanks for the info.
I will only have 4 days over x-mas so not sure whether i make it to
talbotville.
Time is just running away and i have not organized much since we met.
Will give you an update separately.

prado-wolf,
I was there November this year.
The trees, as you can see from the photo, are on the
hill behind the
cemetery and although burnt are starting to come back.
The
wildflowers are out and the grass at that time was not too high. It might have grown a bit since then.

cemetery
Looking to wards Wonnangatta Station (
ruins)
Some of the Elm trees have been cut down in
the grove on the other side of Conglomerate
Creek. I would think it was for safety reasons
All the long drops around the
camping areas are still there and the rivers are flowing.

Just as long as you aren't expecting peace and quiet down there....
At that time of the year there will be hoards of 4WD's doing 'laps', mucking around on "The Widowmaker", trail bikes buzzing up and down the valley ad nauseum, generators etc.... doesn't turn my crank I'm afraid.....
But enjoy regardless..
Cheers,
Mark
