Stopped at the lights.
Across the way, nice look cruiser – Sneak a peek. Busted. How ya going mate?

Driving along the freeway. Man, that cruiser in the next lane has some height. Check it out. Gentle wave, he’s looking at me too gee. Landcruiser wink.

RV ute passes quickly. Nice looking ute from what I saw as it flew past, could just make out his eyes perving at my ute too.

Cruiser pulls up next to me. He points out a Patrol on the other side. Hahahahahahahahahahaha. Landcruiser wink.

What the hell have you got those STT’s in the city for, says cruiser man two lanes away. YOU NEVER KNOW when you have to drive over a tree now do you?? Landcruiser wink.

Troopy in busy carpark, we pass each other. Slight nod of head.

Sound familiar??

Looking for adventure.
In whatever comes our way.

You just have to have the feeling! I had my new lux on Fraser Island when it was about 4 weeks old and only just released, people where stopping in the tracks and hailing me to stop so they could talk to me about the new lux, of course being the good Tojo fan that I'am I stopped briefly so as not to cause a traffic jam at cetral station.

PS - good signature pic. Picked just the right angle so we can't even see the jacks you've used to lift it up to get to the problems underneath!!! ;-)

LOL... I love to reverse park into a tight spot with a shop window where I can see exactly how close I am.

The two STTs on the look scarey enough to the poor souls in the car behind, or the grannies on the footpath both of which who have been seen to raise their arms as though I was going to hit the car behind... I stop just an inch or two short and pull into the middle of the park, get out, get fleeced by the council for parking, and walk off with a straight face.

I don't know about the rest of you, but if I was driving along and some other BLOKE winked at me, I'd be very worried. I guess it just goes to prove my long-held thoughts about the relative sexual orientation of blandcruiser drivers......... (batting for the other side).

I'm now having serious misgivings about the order I have for a new 200 series!!!

At least when I drive the big block Chev-powered Nissan I NEVER get blokes winking at me!!!! Certainly lots of looks of envy; but never a wink (thank goodness)....hahaha

Hey thats nice of other men to wink you, and I am glad other mens winks gives you that special feeling, however through my observations I have concluded that almost all the other drivers in the gay pride march also recieve the same attention. May I suggest that you are avarage amongst this demographic?

I will admit I will perv on other Nissans rigged up ready to rock and roll but there's NO WAY IN HELL I would ever give a nod or wink or even a slight smile. It's more like that amoral ad that's on the telly at the moment, I will stare until I cant stare any longer.

Roachie,

You are spot on mate, I couldn't drive one of those gay magnet thing-a-mi-jigs they are talking about. I'd be toooooo scared that I might be looked at the wrong way, especially after reading all this.

A fair few Nissan owners keen to take this thread in a particular direction very quickly. Insecurity fellas? There is probably a psychological thesis here somewhere, not sure when my car will blow, not sure when I will.............

Roachie, don't forget to take the optional 'sensitivity training package' when you get the 200. You will feel much more comfortable afterwards.

Funny stuff fellas, ya gotta love this forum.

Baz , for now i own a NISSAN PATROL, why?? because its my personal car of choice.....you own a whatever , and i don't really give a s h i t e , you own it because that's what you choose to own...well good onya!! It would be so boring if we all owned the same type of vehicle, right? One thing that gets up my nose on here? its people like yourself,( and im not just targeting you ) that get on here and don't mind taking the p i s s out of me or anyone else because we choose to own something different to what they own, and its always a joke to start with, but as soon as someone else has something smarter to say ,well look out , all of a sudden its no longer a joke anymore, it becomes personal...What im trying to get across is that we are all bloody different ...who knows next year i might shock everyone and go buy myself a ..a...t t t oyota, damn that was hard...lol anyway to sum it all up...If you or anyone else cant handle a bit of friendly banter , then i suggest you need to get a life!!!....I mean holy hell if Richard Kovacs and i can sling a bit of s h i t e at each other and then still joke about it , im sure anyone can......

Well Dave, is there anywhere in this thread i had a go at what people drive, or you for that matter, i don't think so.

How can one tell if i was serious, or did you assume as most do, the people on here that know me and have met me know that i'm far from serious!!!!

So your responce is a tad over the top, i don't have a go at what others drive, my original post was having a go in jest at the crap that others rabbit on about, on how wonderfull their make of car is, some may say they only having fun and some are but i doubt that all are, as the same ones keep popping up when i happen to mention what i drive.

After a while the friendly banter becomes boring and childish as it's all the time (from the regulars), so don't have a go at me for something i didn't and don't do.

Have a good Xmas Dave.

Baz.

Oh and for the record, i have a Disco.

Ahhh - to enjoy the brand superiority, the inferior ones are spending too much time being repaired, replaced or pushed - hence the owners are too bushed to understand the "Feeling".

Not to mention that someone who is very comfortable with his manliness doesn't have to try to convince anyone that his handshake is manly........unless you are missan something !!!

All brands have their nods and winks............ But for different reasons

the cruiser nod is recognition of the bloke you recognise from that meeting at well 33 or the one that helped you out with some fuel in the GVD

The Nissan Hug is seeing the other lovely lady you met at the PATA primary school meeting shes got 2 little ones just like you and are now sharing ferring the kids to school coz she lives nearby

the landrover wink is recognizing the guys you meet up with regulary at the only mechanic i n the city that will touch them (and you spend enough time there to make freinds with all the others that live there also)

The jeep handshake and maaaate is because no one else will talk to you
