Hi Guys,
There was an incindent that resulted in the rear door flare coming off and the rear body flare partly removed!
I tried to pull the rest of the flare off without breaking any plastic clips etc. It is virtually impossible to pull the flares off without breaking any clips or plastic tabs/brackets on the flares.
Now what should I glue that tabs/brackets back on to the flares with?
Hot glue gun, liquid nails? Anyone got the best solution?
Thanks......Leroy

Leroy,
I did the same, I bought replacement clips from Nissan they weren't as expensive as I thought they would be. Nissan sell the clips as a regular item they're used to this sort of thing. Make sure you keep the rubber seal you can't get them any more. Hope this helps.

not just the little white clips/posts broke but also the brackets/tabs that are moulded to the flare that these little clips go into.

I had the same problem. The plastic is polypropylene, and is not easily glued or welded. I managed to find a plastic repair place which fixed the tabs for about $20, which was better than the $360 Nissan wanted. They lasted a couple of years before one came loose again. I managed to make a small metal L-bracket which I fitted inside the flare and screwed it to the door.
Do a Google on welding polypropylene.

I would try Locktite 401 super glue. Sounds a little weak but trust me this stuff is worth its weight in gold as far as super glue is concerned.
Cheers Luke

The replacement clips were cheap enough. I used silastic for the broken bolt clip on the bottom - this has been in place for a couple of years. I have lost the rubber but it doesn't look so bad without the rubber.
Kind regards
