Good stuff hey !

Got my car pretty muddy over the weekend with no way to clean it.

So today outside Supacheap dandenong the service lane got choked up with water. Only some 300mm but we drove thru it and turned around and went back a couple of times , and she got the best underbody clean she's had in quite a while.

Looks like great fun

One thing that really hit home was power. I had it in low range and the water was at the top of the wheel arch so maybe 70cm, I was flooring it, the engine was at around 3000 and I had a massive bow wave. The wheels were not slipping. So anyway this was safe still water with a hard bottom. I really felt like I could do with double the power, I have always thought I had plenty of power for both freeway and 4x4ing, but the water takes it out of the car quick smart. In a raging rive 1m deep I would want 400nm minimum.

You see thats the kind of thing that gives 4wd's a bad name!!!!!

I can see the local papers headlines "Bloody louts tearing up the local oval"

To all the anti fun people, I wont be to hard, you probably think this is a small cricket oval, in fact its next to an open cut mine and is used by the locals (me inc) all year round for these sort of activities. In the summer I fly RC planes, go kite boarding, people ride motor bikes, hovercrafts and loads of other stuff. You go down there and start having a chat with all the other people there doing the same thing. Its a huge relief that where I live this sort of outdoor fun is still alive and acceptable. This is quality & safe, if you dont agree then we can talk about the time you almost won a game of bridge later.

They're either not getting enough action at home in the bedroom, or something's lodged up their backsides, whatever their problem is, PhantomF4, that looks like you guys had a great time, I know where you guys were, and its just a big grass open area more than anything, I took a Prado 4L V6 4X4 there and just cut loose, mud everywhere, was a lot of fun.

Hmm, suddenly all of F4Phantom's pics have been deleted or are unable to be found from photobucket. Maybe he had 2nd thoughts about posting pics like that on a very public forum.

It's NOT privately owned, and it's not really an oval, does it even look like one? Probably a mistake on F4Phantoms part on calling it that. There are no goalposts on it, no cricket pitch, there's no children's playground. It's in Mooroolbark, go see for yourselves. "I bet they don't do it on their lawn!" What a dumb comment, so what you're saying AKA is that you never go 4 wheel driving, because if you do, then you are a hypocrite, unless of course you tear up your lawn - in which case if F4Phantom also tore up his front lawn with his 4x4, that makes his actions in the photos justifiable? Retard!
F4Phantom, i think these guys obviously don't have their own 4 wheel driving to do, and are just critics on the internet. they obviously think a 4 wheel drive is just for picking the kids up at school. i am going snowmobiling next week! 110km/h on snow getting air, i will post some pics, no doubt these retards will accuse me of causing avalanches and global warming, and not respecting the snow.
