Footloose
Well... the sit on lawnmower is in being repaired, so I know what time of the year it is. The jungle looks like it hasn't been touched, and everything else around here needs attention.
I do try and remember that some here might not observe the same festivities as many of us do. So I've tried to be politically correct.
Our holiday season is similar but very different to the original European models. Somehow "dashing through the snow" doesn't have much relevance here. And although we still depict Santa in a red suit, in reality it would need air con.
Much as I pray for peace and happiness for all mankind it just doesn't seem that it's ever going to happen. Anyway it's a bit presumptuous of me.
So this year I'm going to try and bypass all that and send everyone a traditional Australian greeting and good wishes (no, not the finger :)
From our mob to your mob...have a good one ! :))

May peace break into your house and may thieves come to steal your debts. May love stick to your face like Vaseline and may laughter assault your lips! May your clothes smell of success like smoking tyres and may happiness slap you across the face and may your tears be that of joy. May the problems you had forget your home address! In simple words ............ May 2008 be the best year of your life!!! Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.
