What amazes me is that as soon as the price of crude goes UP, so does the price at the bowser, but when the price of crude goes DOWN, the price at the bowser does not.
How does that work.

Gramps, the interbank rates have changed as different companies see others as risks. That is what happened as a friend found out at Centro. Bankers want reward for perceived risk, no matter the actual.

well :)

Still not over that election result 'ey lads? LOL
You'd better get used to it, history tells us that Australians always give new governments at least two terms. Even worse news for you, since 1975 the average has been 4.33 terms. Even worse still the recent pattern has been 4, 5, 4 terms; if this follows it'll be the 2022 before we see change of government again.
Sorry boys, no opinion on my part, just trying to brighten you up :-)

I've been in business before John, owned a Motel and Restaurant for 8 years. I actaully found Labour Party policiy of putting more money in the hands of lower income earners helped me.
As a rule, and this is a generalisation, give poor people money and they spend it; give it to the wealthy and they invest it.
Anyway, didn't want to start a political debate, just thought I'd wind you two up a bit LOL.
Cheers,
Jim.

News this morning tells me that the price of petrol has dropped 5c/l after being put up by the same amount on first day of holidays, despite no increase imported oil.
Surprise, surprise.
Some time ago I posted about obscene fuel company profits, and was throughly blasted, hung drawn and quartered for it.
It seemed as though everyone either had shares in them or owned a servo. Who the heck was I to whinge?
Since then we have had numerous posts on the price of fuel.
My, my.
They alwaysa shoot the messenger, don't they?

LOL it must be that country air Footy because I know you don't drink.
Being a prophet suits you given your predilection for wandering aimlessly in
the desert. Just don't go sitting naked and crosslegged on some pointy mountain peaks though hahahahaha

Gramps, 40 days and nights in
the desert without food or
water doesn't do it for me.
Sitting around naked...might not be my prophecies that come back to bite me on the derriere!

We wouldn't allow you in
the desert without the solar panels and an
HF radio F'loosie. Sure you could rig up the laptop for internet conection every few days to keep the weather eye on the fuel prices. ;-)))
