Just letting all know I went through the
Tom Groggin Track from
Omeo, over the
Murray River at
Tom Groggin. Track condition is good. A couple of steep sections close to
Tom Groggin which were passable in 2WD but would become nasty quick in wet weather. The
Murray River was only up to the diff at
Tom Groggin, took it in 2WD no problem, good stone coverage. There's been some rain up there in the last couple of days so the river height and track condition may have changed.

Thanks for the report but I suspect you're correct that conditions may have already changed considerably with the storms that rolled through the NE over the last two days. Have had isolated storms with gale force winds dump up to 4 inches of rain in less than an hour with some rivers in semi flood. (not sure of upper Murray) May be a good Xmas to get a
snorkel or chainsaw in your stocking if heading to the High Country.
Cheers Craig.........

G'day,
Thanks for that report, I'll be heading into those tracks this week so that'll save me asking again.
G'day Crackles, you should've been at the Mollyullah dinner dance, they finished up with a bit over $15000 to the CFA there, do you reckon they weren't stoked. :>))
