Seasons greetings all,
I have the 4x4 and camper trailer loaded ready to head off on Boxing day to Hyden then a few days on the Holland Track. We intend to cover some of the Gold Quest Trail from Kalgoorlie for a few more days before returning home to Mandurah. We have not been to Kalgoorlie and the back blocks so it will be a real adventure.Wishing you all the best for the new year, and stay safe.

Some fantastic and specatcular country. You wont be disapointed. Make sure you have plenty of H2O, mighty warm out that way at the moment.

safe travels,

have a safe journey but reinforce the warning of safe travel....will be very hot and dry out there this time of year

Also be prepared for a large portion of it burnt out that has significantly detracted from its scenery and beauty for the time being........we have done it a few times over the years......most recently end of October this year.....
Life is a journey, it is not how we fall down, it is how we get up.

Make sure you take the time to do the woodlines at the northern end taking in burra Rocks and cave hill. the unburnt woodlands in the area are much more pituresque especially the gimlets in the late arvo.
the dams around the rocks will provide welcome swimming holes and dont forget the yabby nets
