Hi all, I have an auxiliary
tank from a petrol Prado (2006 or 07) that I am thinking of fitting to my 92 4Runner where the underbody spare is mounted. $64000 question is will the transfer pump be OK for diesel? There's a few openings on the top of the
tank to cap off before mounting, but I suppose the other big question is where can / should I mount the filler?
Cheers, & have a good Chrissie.

Other thing to consider is the cost of getting it certified to make it legal. I investigated using a Patrol
tank in the rear of a Cruiser and the cost of doing it was prohibitive.
