The nearest wrecker maybe or perhaps a good welder can repair it

Find a welder to repair it, and maybe consider putting a drain plug where the hole is so you can drain it in future. A wrecker should have a few old engine sumps that you can cut a suitable piece out of complete with sump plug.

Any muffler shop welder should be able to handle the job.

Obviously the tank needs to be removed from the vehicle filled with water while this is done :)

Or replace it with a long range tank ?

If its a standard tin tank , solder a patch over the hole ,
it will be ok
