Saw a brief clip on Sunrise thi morning.
Showed what looked to be a red Troopy trayback making a run for it through the in coming surf.
Anyone we know ?
Cheers.....Lionel.

This morning EPA were asking everyone to move back behind the dunes, this afternoon they started urging campers to leave the eastern side.
We're going up to
Rainbow Beach tomorrow - staying in a house for a week - should be an interesting show.

I lost count of the amount of Vehicles coming through the toll last night, all of them rather peed off that they got kicked off Fraser,
Rainbow and Straddie and had to cut their holiday short!
Cheers
Jo

Good ol Greg, bailed early and left of his own accord Wednesday, I think. Not much fun for the campers over there :-((((

We just arrived back from Fraser Island today. Supposed to leave on 2 January but got too windy and wet and high tide is at lunch time so hard to drive on the beaches unless you get up very early.
We were made to leave
Central Station after one night because they were scared of the trees falling over but found a spot near eastern side and OK for 2 nights and then last night spent at
Eurong resort in a nice safe apartment along with a lot of other people
camping.
I feel really really sorry for all the businesses that normally would be packed out. Inskip
camping is also closed down so
Rainbow Beach is like a ghost town. If only the bad weather had waited one more week!! Have to go back next year now and checkout the
places we missed
