Hi there all fellow EO people,I have been off the forum for some time just lurking behind the scenes so to speek.So to all i hope you had a great Xmas & received more than you gave(joking).I left Yatala (Bris)on sunday last via Dalby,Jandowae,Mundubbera,(night stop at Ceratodus old rail station),Monto,Biloela,Blackwater,Emerald,Saphire,Rubyvale,Anakie(night stop)back to Emerald then ontoCapella where the rest stop had free hot shower (loverly) Clermont,Belyando crossing,(night stop 80k sth of Charters Towers in main rs stock pile yd)thn onto Charters Towers,Townsville (night stop sth of T'ville BP Road house )from T'ville west to Bluewater Sprins,The Lynd Junction,then onto Undara Volcanic NP for two nights,one day look around left there 7am this morning & arrived Cooktown 5.30 this arvo.I have had a damn good trip thus far as it has been raining most days.Townsville on wednesday for service of the motorhome not booked in but on there doorstep before they opened & they had me done by 10 0clock & on my way,sorry to bore you but i have been travelling with me,myself & I.Bloomin muggy here i might also say.Have a good night & happy New Year to you all.

P.s Next g pone worked at a lot of places & not some far out places,it is theLG550 with the tick & when at the volcanic np it worked connected to my 6db external ant. but not when out of the car kit.Cheers All.

Morning to you Al,i had to do something i was going stark raving mad at home & that was after 2 days off .I knew the cricket was not going to be all that interesting and not waqting to wait till Boxing Day to head off & enjoy the being on the roads with all the other Boxing day travellers i left home.
Al, have a great New Year & the good wishes to your Family as well.
