Getting in first everyone because I'm working tonight, (Gee the tolls will be fun tonight!!!)
So a Happy New Year to you All!!!!! may it be filled with plenty of travelling and playtime! and hopefully a few more of us might all be able to get together in the new year.!

Speaking of which I am having 5 days off work from friday the 18th Jan to tue the 22nd Jan, we are thinking of taking off camping. Anyone who wishes to join in, members known or new members let me know and we'll work a destination out! We were thinking of Fraser but for that it will come down to weather pending etc. So any other suggestions even for anyone else who'd like to come along let me know. If there is one or two of you interested in joining in then I will set it up as a trip gathering.

Lucy and Des.... I expect you both to be on your best behaviour this year!!!!!!!!

Cheers everyone take care on the roads tonight!

Happy new years to you to Jo,

How about coming down to the West Kunderang gathering??
It is not that far for you and it is on over your 5 days off and there is nothing for you to organise ;))

Cheers Kev and Darkie

Have no hope of keeping Lucy on a leash though....

Have a great new year and maybe see you around the block.

Nice to see your face Blaze... Damned if I'm gonna mess with your pussy though! Have a good night last night did we?
So what did You and Des get up to last night? drank too much? drank not enough? I must message him again, never got to replying to him. Probably thinks I have forgotten about him!

I've got my spies out on Lucy....

Cheers
Jo

The mongrel put me in a straight jacket, stole all my money in Poker and hung me from the ceiling then used me as a Pinyata???. Consequently a quiet night for me. I did have to do a kid pick up run so that got me out of there.

At least Al will still be going ahead with the 50 series conversion for Mr Lexic as I hear he has paid in full ha ha ha
Was the Travelander being custom made to fit the conversion?? LOL

Cheers Darkie

Just got back from Frazer Island today and EXTREMELY windy. The tides are also very very high and a lot of the dunes have been washed away and no camping is allowed along the beaches. The barge people said that no-one is allowed to go over to the island unless they have hotel accom or are a resident but hopefully that will be lifted in the next few days. Other than that we had a great time as mainly stayed on the inland tracks as most people were evacuating a few days earlier so no-one around. I really feel sorry for all the businesses on Fraser and Rainbow Beach as even Inskip camping areas are closed down so everywhere looks like a ghost town!!

That is what I was thinking DaisyGirl (nice to meet you by the way!) That even if the weather had fined up that damage was done and they would maybe stop people from going over for a bit to stop more damage.
Every 5/6 weeks of my work cycle I have 5 days off so maybe next time round. Pleased to hear you had a good time there though, So many customers were peeved they had to cut their holidays on short, but obviously understood why. (I think they might have been more peeved that they will now have kids at home on holidays constantly saying.. 'I'm bored!'

Cheers
Jo
