Also try a smash repairer, suggest a carton of beer for his trouble to get a better price ;))
Cheers Kev

Don't accept the quote over the phone from the Windscreen O'Brien call centre.
Just say thanks and you will let them know.
They will normally ask for your phone number and the local branch manager will follow up with a far better price.
Was quoted $380- by call centre, $160- by branch manager.
The call centre can't deal they just quote the listed prices.

Thanks for the advice John.
Did what you suggested.
Got a quote from the call centre of $448.00.
I'll wait a few days to see if the branch manager calls.
If he does I will post results.
Regards
Craig B

Ring a few others whilst your waiting Craig, you can then use the lower quote to help beat down WOB.
Hope it helps.
Cheers

Similar treatment with my Patrol, similar price from the call centre at O'B. Was pushed for an answer, but I said I'd call back. Got another company to do it for a lot less than $200, right at my front door.
If O'B had called back with a lower price, I wouldn't have gone there anyway - their obscene first price was enough to put me off the company.

Hi Craig,
I have used NOVUS for 100 series twice, they have been great and lots cheaper than obrien.

I agree with comments about Windscreen Obrien.
I used to have a lease car and without lease it was $490, with lease it was $185
Go figure ????

They make were they can.
If people are dumb enough to pay the asking price then the old adage about a fool and his money applies in my view.
Deep pockets of the operating lease company is filled by the high price of the lease on the vehicle.
