I paid $160.00 for mine they are all right for the price I now have a MaxAir
from bush ranger has twice the flow rate of a ARB pump and around the same price $370.00.
Dont let any one tell you the grunter etc ones are the same (they look the same from the out side)I bought one $69.00 not even half as fast as the hurricane.
pulled the heads off and the build quality is very home madelooking in the cheapy.
Might open a can of worms.
the ARb- Blue Tongue-thomas are all good and all around $350-400 mark.

Thanks crfan,

I am only looking at spending around $200 dollars, so I think the Hurricane is my best bet.

Stolzy - I think I paid about $150 a few years ago. Haven't used it all that much but it works fine. May not be as quick as some of the more expensive ones. May not last as long either. However the price is right. And it's compact. Mounted mine inside the vehicle where it's always handy and out of the way.

I have a Bushranger MaxAir, which is a fantastically quick compressor. It's more than $200, but I would look at the ProAir which is cheaper. Before the MaxAir I had a SomethingAir which cost $80, and that gave me very good service for a few years. So I have no hesitation in recommending Bushranger products.

I had a hurricane that performed flawlessly for about 4 years, until i serviced it and it died.

I've now got an OX, i used to think that the hurricane was impressive, NOT ANY MORE.

But then i do lots of sand stuff and quite often am topping up 3 or 4 vehicles.
