I have recently been fourwheel driving up at salamander in my NJ Pajero, and unfortunetly went over a dune a little too fast, going nose first into a
sand dune, then lanuching off, landing on a flat stretch of sand about 10 or so metres. Luckly I had a bull bar and it took most of the impact, but had buckled up onto the bonnet. I was able to fix the bull bar and there does not appear to be anyfurther damage, but i am just a little concerned that there might be something else wrong with the car and it is only a matter of time before it occurs. Could anyone give me any warning signs to look out for, so i am aware there is someting wrong, and hopefully correct it before it becomes to late.
Thanks.

Rodney, on completing a
Simpson Desert crossing, a friend and I, both driving Pajeros, found ourselves ascending Big Red. I hit the crest with just enough speed to blast through the lip and land the front wheels a couple of meters further on. My friend, not wishing to be out done, gunned it and hit the crest too fast and came back to earth some 10 metres later. The roof rack tramlined onto the bonnet but no other damage was sustained. The episode was captured on
home video and was titled "Honey, I ...... the Pajero"

Oh boy there's still room for lots of instructors to teach drivers how to handle vehicles competently in difficult situations!! Sorry to all you capable drivers I know that these chumps weren't in difficult situations but some people make simple things appear difficult!!

i didn't ask for criticism, i ask for advise.
There is also a saying live and learn, maybe next time should consider that, before coming onto a
forum, making out your top bleep .
